A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that query. When you contact us, we receive the details placed in the message and use them to answer.
Routine Technical Data
The hosting service records standard log details such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. Aggregate review helps diagnose faults and measure which pages are useful. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar tools.
How Information Is Used
Technical and contact data support site operation, repairs, traffic counts, page improvement, and replies. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create profiles about individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
County portals, state systems, archives, library collections, and outside search services follow their own privacy terms. Those policies control any data entered after leaving this site. Sponsored results are also delivered by a separate company.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic in transit, and logs are retained only while needed for the purposes described here. Since visitors do not create accounts, this site holds no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete site-held data depend on where a visitor lives. Alabama has no comprehensive consumer data deletion law identified in the project research. Its Data Breach Notification Act, Ala. Code §§8-38-1 et seq., addresses security and disposal, while Ala. Code §41-13-7 protects specified personal fields in state-agency inspection records. Because this site retains little, a request normally involves checking contact messages and available logs. Submit it through the Contact page. Records held by Phenix City, Russell County, Lee County, or Alabama remain under the control of their public custodians, so correction or suppression requests must go to the proper office.
